Results of medal winners at the 1997 Nebraska High School Journalism
State Contest Saturday May 3 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College
of Journalism.
Finalists in 14 events were given the same assignment Saturday and judged
by journalism professionals. The graphic design and in-depth reporting
events were determined by judging work done during the year by the students.
This contest is sponsored by the Nebraska High School Press Association
and the Nebraska School Activities Association.
