Currency Named Title Sponsor of Believers & Achievers Program

LINCOLN – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce Currency as the title sponsor of the Believers & Achievers program.

Believers & Achievers is a state-wide program designed to give recognition to Nebraska’s future leaders. The award honors those students who show a commitment to good citizenship and involvement in school and community projects.

“We could not be more excited to begin this partnership with Currency,” said NSAA Executive Director Jay Bellar. “The NSAA is thrilled to partner with an organization that values and supports our educational mission to provide opportunities for NSAA member schools and student-participants.”

Currency and the NSAA will select 48 high school seniors to honor throughout the 2022-23 academic year. The pictures and profiles of six Believers & Achievers will be featured in the monthly NSAA newsletter on the NSAA website. A poster will be produced and sent to each member high school for display. The 48 individuals selected will be presented with an award at an NSAA Championship contest during the 2022-23 school year. All 48 Believers & Achievers will be invited to attend an end-of-the-year banquet, celebrating their achievements. During the banquet, Currency will announce eight individual scholarship winners.

“On behalf of Currency, we’re proud to partner with the NSAA in support of the Believers and Achievers program,” said Jared Koch, Currency Director. “Athletics, debate, journalism, and the arts are essential to kids’ education, and we’re pleased to sponsor the Believers and Achievers award to recognize and encourage the remarkable achievements of our Nebraska students.”
