LINCOLN – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce Fremont High School as the Pump & Pantry School Spirit Award recipient for the month of April.
The School Spirit Award program features NSAA member schools sharing photos of their students and fans emphasizing positive support and excitement at NSAA events via social media. Winning photos are selected monthly and may be featured throughout the year on the NSAA website, the NSAA Twitter and Facebook pages. As the April honoree, Fremont High School will also receive a $250 gas card provided by Pump & Pantry to support team and fan travel.
“Fremont High School is honored to be selected as the April Pump and Pantry School Spirit Winner,” said Fremont High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Bill Fitzgerald. “The Student Body at Fremont High School cheers for their teams in all activities, and strives to do so with good sportsmanship. This award helps to confirm our efforts to cheer on our teams in a positive and responsible manner – Thank you Pump and Pantry!”
The 2016-2017 school year marks the third year of the Pump & Pantry School Spirit Award program and has included over 100 NSAA member schools participating to date.
