LINCOLN – Beginning this year, Nebraska Public Media is set to televise the NSAA Baseball and Softball Championship Final Games. A change in the format of the championship bracket in both baseball and softball allows for this television coverage.
“The NSAA is excited to showcase high school softball and baseball and all of the great programs and teams statewide. Placing both on live television will create memories that will last a lifetime for our student-athletes,” said Dan Masters, NSAA Assistant Director in charge of softball and baseball.
“Nebraska Public Media is pleased to add coverage of the NSAA High School Baseball and Softball Championships to our local sports programming line-up. Fans in Nebraska can watch our television broadcasts, or livestream from our website or app. Our partnership with NSAA also makes it possible for us to offer an additional stream on our app for viewers who want to watch from outside the state,” said Nebraska Public Media Chief Content Officer Nancy Finken.
The 2023 NSAA Baseball Championship Finals will take place on Friday, May 19th at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (UNO) – Tal Anderson Field. The 2023 NSAA Softball Championship Finals will take place on Monday, October 16th also on the campus of UNO at Connie Claussen Field.
